Winning recognition as one of Germany’s top 100 employers shows that the Druckstudio Group is on the right track with its concept of employee involvement and active corporate values. “However, we will also use this award and the results of the evaluation as motivation to continue to improve our HR work,” adds Drechsler. So far, Druckstudio is the only printshop in Germany to make it into the top 100.
The assessment of the quality and appeal of companies is based first and foremost on anonymous employee surveys conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute Deutschland. Employees supply information on the credibility, respect and fairness of managers, on how they identify with the company’s overall activities, and on the quality of teamwork at the company. The assessment also focuses on key workplace criteria such as recognition, remuneration, professional development and health care. It also hones in on the details of the companies’ individual HR activities and style of leadership.
A total of 100 companies of all sizes and in all industries and regions were recognised for their outstanding quality and appeal as employers. More than 400 companies throughout Germany took part in the benchmark analyses and underwent independent audits by the Great Place to Work Institute. The certificates were presented to the winning companies by former Federal Minister Peer Steinbrück, patron of this year’s gala event.
