The Düsseldorf-based Druckstudio Group has won again in the leading industry competition. The print and media service provider has been given the prestigious Druck&Medien Awards for being the best print shop in Germany in the “Commercial Printer of the Year” category. As well as this gold award, the company also won bronze in the “Most Environment-Oriented Company of the Year” category at the award ceremony in Berlin on 26 October. Organised by the “Deutscher Drucker” publishing house and presented every year since 2005, the Druck&Medien Awards are among the most prestigious accolades in the German printing industry. The glamorous awards gala event was hosted by TV presenter Judith Rakers.
The “Commercial Printer of the Year” category singles out companies that use sophisticated production technology and high-quality print products to particular success in what is the biggest but also most fiercely competitive sector of the printing industry. Particularly outstanding commercial print products are selected by a panel of 23 judges.
The judges also reserved special praise for the successful print shop’s coherent overall concept: “For years, Druckstudio has positioned itself as a print and media service provider in the high-quality segment. Its range of services includes offset printing, digital printing and digital media. On this basis, the company can meet all specific customer requirements with a full range that boasts flexibility and expertise – and do so across all media. The use of state-of-the-art technologies and absolute reliability in production go without saying.”
Furthermore, the company’s sustainability credentials were again singled out for praise this year, with Druckstudio winning a bronze award that confirms its place as one of the top three print shops in the “Most Environment-Oriented Company of the Year” category.
Each year, the “Deutscher Drucker” publishing house presents companies in the German print and media industry with the Druck&Medien awards for special achievements. Awards in a total of 25 categories were presented to individuals, teams and companies in Berlin.
