A 24-strong panel has short-listed a total of 95 entries. Comprising print experts from well-known print buyers, customers and universities, the panel met twice to evaluate 233 entries in 20 categories. For a list of all the nominees, go to www.druckawards.de.

“As always, the members of the panel set the bar very high in terms of quality and discussed every entry intensively before voting for their favourites in a secret ballot,” said Thomas Fasold, chairman of the panel and editor in chief of Druck&Medien. “Once again this year, the entries highlight the wide range of services offered by German print and media companies, with new products and services being added to the portfolio each year.”
In 2011, the industry prize for the German print industry awarded by the trade magazine Druck&Medien is being presented for the seventh time. The winners will be kept secret until the award ceremony on 20 October 2011 in Berlin. The gala event will take place at the Hotel Grand Hyatt on Potsdamer Platz. The evening will be hosted by the television presenter and entertainer Barbara Schöneberger.
