The Druckstudio Group has now won the prestigious Druck&Medien Award in the “Business Report Printer of the Year” category for the second time in succession. As well as the gold award, the company also won silver in the “Most Environment-Oriented Company of the Year” category at the award ceremony in Berlin on 3 November. The Druck&Medien Awards are the most important awards in the German printing industry. The awards gala event was hosted by TV presenter Judith Rakers.
With another award in the “Business Report Printer of the Year” category, the Druckstudio Group continues to demonstrate its consistently high standards at the “pinnacle of printing”, as the judges put it. Once again this year, the Düsseldorf-based company impressed the 25 experts on the judging panel with high-quality printing and meticulous surface finishes for business reports. The judges reserved special praise for offset printing “featuring maximum precision and brilliance” and the portfolio of digital printing and non-print products. The print and media service provider’s commitment to sustainability using ecological printing processes was also recognised.
“We’re very proud we’ve been able to defend our title. This shows us that we continue to be perfectly placed with our commitment to high-quality printing,” says Werner Drechsler, Managing Director of the Druckstudio Group. “Just as important to us is the recognition of our commitment to sustainability, as environmental and social responsibility has been an integral part of our company for many years.” The company was also nominated in the “Catalogue Printer of the Year” category.
Each year, the “Deutscher Drucker” publishing house presents companies in the German print and media industry with the Druck&Medien awards for special achievements. Awards were presented in Berlin to individuals, teams and companies in a total of 24 categories.
